These three-fold campus brochures were created upon the President’s request as a way to highlight each campus’s primary mission and provide facts at a glance that can then be distributed to university stakeholders.
The Regional Campus Scoop is a bi-annual newsletter that highlights collaborative projects completed by the regional campus institutional research team and UIRR, to provide actionable insights for executive leadership.
The University Research & Reporting (UIRR) Office has produced several decades of fact books, which originally were via hard copy and then moved to electronic static views in 2009. The original purpose of the fact book was to provide a summary of modular area, static data views university-wide and by campus to the public in one specific location.
The time-consuming process limited users to static views and was not keeping up with the needs of constituents, which have shifted toward more "self-service" data model access. In an effort to provide interactive data visualizations, UIRR has developed Tableau views/reports addressing the student life cycle (i.e. admissions through outcomes) that were covered in the fact book. UIRR also collaborated with other modular area offices to identify data elements that were also featured in the fact book.
UIRR has retired the static version of the fact book and replaced this resource with interactive data views and/or links to other websites for similar data. In hopes of making this a smooth transition, UIRR is providing an overall crosswalk (e.g. links, contacts) of where past fact book information sections can be found going forward.
