Images
By images we mean files such as GIFs, JPGs, and PNGs. They could be thumbnails, photos, illustrations, or diagrams.
If you want to put images on a page, upload your image files to the folder under images/ that corresponds to the folder where your page resides.
For instance, if you edited facts-figures/admissions/transfer/index , and wanted to put pictures on that page, please upload your picture files to images/facts-figures/admissions/transfer/ .
News
One slight exception: To keep things simple, when you create news items (the things we'll use in place of Featured Reports) please put their images in images/news (rather than images/news-events/_news).
Docs
By docs we mean files such as DOCs, PDFs, and XLS files.
If you want to link doc files from a web page, please upload your doc files to the folder under doc/ that corresponds to the folder where your page resides.
For instance, if you edited facts-figures/admissions/transfer/index , and wanted to link docs from that page, please upload your doc files to doc/facts-figures/admissions/transfer/
News
As with images, if you want to put a link to a doc in a news item, please upload it to doc/news .
Protecting images and docs
By default all images and docs are freely visible (and downloadable) by anyone. If you want to protect a folder full of docs (or images) please let Raja know.
