Gina Romano joined UIRR in 2019 as a Data Analyst. Gina has almost a decade of experience working in applied research settings, including institutional research offices, evaluation and education policy centers, evaluation consulting firms, and education non-profits. She is a PhD candidate in the Inquiry Methodology program at Indiana University's School of Education. Her focus is on quantitative methodologies, which include statistics and psychometrics. Gina’s research interests include design and evaluation of statistical models, longitudinal data analysis, measurement of 21st century skills, and data visualization. With a background in anthropology and sociology, Gina is also interested in how qualitative approaches can complement quantitative methods.
